New roof recently completed for pert bruce @ Cortachy.

We used cupe heavy 3 spanish 16x10’s. Nailed with aluminium 50’s.

Code 4 lead soakers used for the mitred hips.

Lead bat vents and ubink ub 11 svp vents installed.

Leadwork done by others.

Nice looking roof situated right by the river esk ideal working conditions.

All slates graded before hand scaffold left spotless . As always top class finish by the lads.

Sunnyside estate update, Phase 1 has been completed since late last year, and it is looking fantastic with the sun shining down on it.

Recently started phase 2 slates all removed, joiners are in doing extensive timber repairs.

Parts of the roof are becoming ready for the lads to start laying lead and slates.

Exciting to have thousands of m2 of roofing ahead of us for the next few years.

Our team of highly experienced slaters will make light work of this.

Monster 400m2 at newtyle using cupa heavy 3’s laid on tile battens due to being a sip’s roof construction.

200m2 just outside montrose. Using heavy 3’s again.

Here we have a fully restored roof, cast iron rain water goods and chimney on a refurb we have been involved with in Edzell for, MCK Construction.
It is newring completion with some landscaping and drainage to be completed.

The chimney had started to deteriorate with a large crack showing.
We were instructed to dismantle the chimney carefully setting aside all masonry for re use. ✅
Chimney was then reinstated using all original masonry being built with nhl 3.5 lime mortar. ✅
New elephants feet installed to chimney cans. ✅

On an inspection of the roof it was clear the roof was original and had become nail sick.

Roof was then stripped well setting aside all slates for re use. ✅
New breathable felt fitted with timber repairs where necessary. ✅
New velux window installed. ✅
New lead installed code 5. ✅
New fibreglass valley installed to the rear of front chimney. ✅
Slates graded and re fitted with copper nails. ✅
New dry ridge system with a concrete ridge tile. ✅

All the existing cast iron rain water goods had been left to rust away.
They were removed and taken away to the yard for refurbishment. ✅
All rust removed back to clean metal. ✅
1 coat of primer and 2 coats of hammerite paint used. ✅
Re fitted. ✅

Fully resorted welsh slated roof and brick/stone build chimney looking absolutely stunning. ✅

A job completed for Whitworth Construction on there site at hillside.

We used cupa heavy 3 16x10 Spanish slates with code 5 lead skews and valleys. Finished off with concrete black ridge.

Top class finish to the roof all work carried out by qualified craftsmen.

Job at benholm needed the chimney rendered but when we stripped it off the chimney was ready to collapse.

So we stripped it down and rebuilt it with 4’’ blocks added coping stones then fitted the chimney cans, lead skews and flashing.
Chimney was then re harled ready for the flexy flu liner to be installed next.

New cure it grp fibreglass flat roof on a cottage refurbishment we are working on just now at benholm.

We stripped off the existing roof and built up the wall heads to allow more head room inside
We then built the new roof using 9x2 timber with fillets to allow a fall for the water to run off the roof, then boarded the roof ready for fibreglass.

The Cure It system comes complete with: A 20 year guarantee on manufacturer materials
