The Good Life York Mark & Sarah use the Good Life to chart some of the things they do in their gardens and workshop.

There’s a lot of wildlife and a host of plants & trees which all change with the seasons which they want to share with you.

Distracted by the noise! Bird book came out … they are Goldfinches eating the seeds from the teasels and thistles. Delighted to learn a flock of Goldfinches is called a ‘charm’

We’ve done our first Willow Harvest 👏 Last year we took a trip to Ireland and met some of the loveliest folk who were so generous with their knowledge that we have been able to plant grow and harvest some lovely willow that Sarah can use for weaving and basket making. Thankyou and - look what we did!

I’ve been volunteering at the Joseph Trust for a couple of years and they do amazing work helping kids who just struggle with mainstream education for a whole range of different reasons.

We’ve entered the York Dragon Boat race and I’m part of the team paddling in it to raise funds towards replacing our very old toilet bock ( it was second hand when we got it 15 years ago) and I can’t keep it going forever!
