🎗️ Running for James’ Place — and why it’s personal to me
On Sunday 11th October, I’m lacing up for the Oxford Half Marathon in support of James’ Place, our chosen charity of the year at The Gentleman Home Services.
James’ Place exists for one reason: to stop men dying by su***de. They offer immediate, practical support to men in crisis — no waiting lists, no red tape, just people ready to help when it matters most.
I’ve had my own periods of struggling with my mental wellbeing, and I know how hard it can be for men to actually open up and ask for help rather than just push through in silence. That’s what makes James’ Place’s work so vital — they’re removing the barriers that stop men reaching out before it’s too late.
I’ve raised £100 of my £250 target so far — I’d love your help to get over the line. Every pound goes straight to supporting men who need it most.

If you’re a customer, a follower, or just someone who believes men should be able to talk — thank you for reading this far, and thank you for anything you can spare. And if you’re struggling yourself: you’re not alone, and it’s okay to ask for help. Would love to chat.
See you at the finish line. 🏃♂️
