The team at Capital Lock & Safe is taking a little break to celebrate with family. We’ll be closing our doors at noon today (Dec 24th) and will return on Friday, Jan 2nd.

Merry Christmas!
The shop will be open until midday on Wednesday, 24th December. Our last shipping day is Tuesday, 23rd December.
Any orders placed after 1 PM on that day will not be processed until we return on Friday, January 2, 2026.

This will be the first full week off (apart from our Christmas shutdowns) that I have taken in the last 6 years.

‼️Have you seen this tractor ?‼️
Forty Hall Farm's trusty tractor was stolen from the market garden on Monday night.

The impact will be felt massively by their small team of growers. It is essential to their work in the fields and the students from Capel Manor will be sad not to have this to learn on too.

Did you see it chugging around the streets of Enfield on Monday night, or notice anyone behaving strangely around the Forty Hall / Farm area?

Just to add: An open-topped JCB jeep went missing too, but thanks to the eyes of our community this was retrieved under bushes in Whitewebbs (for the second time in a year) - maybe you saw someone in this too on Monday night??)

Coming up on Sunday, April 27th we welcome back the Gathering of Geezers Hot Rods for their 4th visit. Always a colourful, lively and highly enjoyable day. DJ Big Paul from Rockabilly Radio will be with us again spinning those discs 🎸🎺🎸
The guys have a full complement of show cars arriving so please DO NOT bring your car to show unless you have already booked with them as we haven't the room available.
Come along and feast your eyes on the craftsmanship, paint and chrome - it's a real feast for the petrolheads among you.
Museum open 10-4, last admission at 3. Cafe serving hot and cold drinks and snacks. Picnic area outside.
Autojumble shop, model railways running in the railway carriage, visit our 200' deep well, classic cars and bikes, fire station...the list goes on. See you then!
