Spring in the Epsom Townhouse garden. New growth is unfurling in every corner, delicate white daffodils drifting through the green, and the Amelanchier casting soft dappled shade over the morning coffee spot. The veg beds are already in full swing - so lovely to see how much this garden is used and enjoyed.

✨ Broadstairs pool garden ✨

A space for long summer days, barefoot wondering and family time in the pool.

A tranquil garden where structure meets softness with clipped topiary and layered planting. The pool sits quietly at the centre of it all, reflecting the sky, and surrounding planting.

Designed for both relaxing and entertaining, it's a space that feels calm, generous, and a little bit indulgent.

Excited to see the Epsom Townhouse garden in this month's Green Issue of 🌿

The article highlights the craftsmanship of who brought the scheme to life ✨

It also focuses on a thoughtful design approach that maximises the use of space, with a layered planting scheme that knits everything together into a rich, green tapestry. And perhaps most importantly provides habitat space and food for pollinators across the seasons 🐝

Excited to see this garden come to life this Spring 🌿

The vision was for an English country garden, where the formality of clipped topiary meets the softness of perennials and grasses.

Multi-stem trees bring height and structure, while planters help create a dining zone on the terrace. Nearby lavender and Nepeta add delicious scent into the mix.

Fresh from the drawing board - a front garden and driveway design in Camberley.

A space designed to feel welcoming on arrival, while also offering a secluded sunny spot to sit and relax.

The free-draining sandy soil inspired a Mediterranean style gravel garden. Low pines and sun-loving plants give a relaxed, warm feel, while acid-yellow Euphorbia and bright red poppies add uplifting pops of colour. 🌿🌞

I'm so happy to share that , the contractors for our Epsom Townhouse garden were honoured at the BALI National Landscape Awards, receiving a Principal Award for the construction of this compact, but beautifully crafted garden.

Small in scale, this space needed to work incredibly hard - and crafted every detail beautifully. As the judges said 'Small space, extraordinary vision.'

The right contractor is key to delivering a garden's full potential. Having worked together on several projects now, are a joy to work with and consistently bring the skill, experience and collaboration that truly elevates the finished garden.

With thanks to our brilliant suppliers and makers:-

As well as our wonderful clients for trusting us with their garden.

Seedheads in our Mediterranean Sanctuary garden 🤎

When designing a planting scheme, I start with winter - thinking first about structure, texture and how the garden will feel in its quietest month. If a space can hold its beauty then, it will truly shine in Spring and Summer.

Seedheads like Agastache and Rudbeckia carry the garden through the darker days, adding sculptural form - and they're far more than decoration. They provide essential winter food for birds and shelter for insects overwintering in the garden, supporting wildlife when it needs it most.

Not quite the day for it, but I'm so grateful for the rain!

Planted only this year, the Mediterranean Sanctuary garden is really finding its feet. The Agastache and Fennel are already mingling beautifully with the grasses and I know that next year everything will bulk up and become even more lush and textured.

And the blackcurrant scent from the salvia!.. It really is a garden for all the senses.

Designing something that's alive and dynamic is one of the key reasons I love this work, and watching a garden evolve over time is one of the greatest joys.
