At Goddard's Cottage, I never feel alone while working in the garden. I have the most charming (and slightly impatient!) companions. 🐦✨
My favorite robin has practically become my site supervisor – perching on the wooden beams and keeping a close eye on every snip of the shears, as if checking if I’m tending to his kingdom correctly. Alongside him, our garden is buzzing with life thanks to the blue t**s, blackbirds, and tiny wrens nesting in our old trees. Occasionally, we even get a visit from colorful finches.
To me, these are the "simple joys." Knowing that by restoring this house and garden, we are creating a sanctuary not just for ourselves, but for these little creatures too. 🏡🍃

W Goddard's Cottage nigdy nie czuję się samotna podczas pracy w ogrodzie. Mam najbardziej uroczych (i nieco denerwujących się na moją powolność!) towarzyszy. 🐦✨
Mój ulubiony rudzik stał się już niemal moim nadzorcą – siada na belkach i bacznie obserwuje każdy ruch sekatora, jakby sprawdzał, czy odpowiednio dbam o jego królestwo. Oprócz niego nasz ogród tętni życiem dzięki sikorkom, kosom i maleńkim strzyżykom, które wiją gniazda w naszych starych drzewach. Czasem odwiedzają nas też kolorowe zięby.
Dla mnie to właśnie są te „proste radości”. Świadomość, że odnawiając ten dom i ogród, tworzymy bezpieczną przystań nie tylko dla siebie, ale i dla tych małych istot. 🏡🍃
