Being able to spot the early signs of grey squirrel and deer damage to your trees allows you to put effective mammal management in place before significant damage is done.

Five questions that can help you identify the cause of the damage are...

🌳 what type of damage is it – browsing, gnawing or rubbing?

🌲 what is the height of the damage?

🌳 what time of year has the damage occurred?

🌲 are there teeth marks present? If so, what size are they?

🌳 are there other signs of mammal activity? footprints and droppings etc.

Any other qualifications is an added bonus and a driving license is preferred.

Previous experience with forestry operations/hand cutting or tree surgery is another added bonus!

Work varies to keep the job interesting.
All aspects of tree work undertaken including forestry, tree surgery/mewp work, firewood processing, milling, planting and fencing.

Looking for someone on a self employed basis, full time or part time positions available.

Small parcel of dead spruce cleared and some boundary ash which were in decline. 🌲🪾
Raked and ready for planting up. 🌱
Next compartment of hemlock was hit in one of last winters storms, various other trees as well.
