A kitchen designed to rise to the scale of the home around it ✨

Set within a beautiful Devon property, this bespoke in-frame kitchen and bootroom was designed to bring warmth, practicality and understated luxury to an impressive open space spanning over 12 metres in length.

The star of the room is undoubtedly the striking 5.5 metre island, finished in Bampton Painted Slate Blue. Its scale creates a true focal point within the space, while the surrounding Bampton cabinetry in Painted Light Grey keeps the room feeling soft, elegant and timeless.

Storage was carefully considered throughout the design, with six pocket doors seamlessly concealing the bar area, coffee station and dedicated snacks cabinet. These hidden spaces allow the kitchen to feel calm and uncluttered while still working effortlessly for modern family life and entertaining.

Inside the island, oak internal accessories including oak crates, oak chopping boards and oak cutlery trays add another layer of craftsmanship and detail. These subtle features elevate the everyday experience of using the kitchen while complementing the classic in-frame design beautifully.

Wasted corner space. Cupboards that are hard to reach. Not enough worktop where you actually need it.

Individually, they don’t seem like a big deal. But over time, they make the kitchen harder to use than it should be.

Fixing them isn’t about adding more. It’s about designing smarter.

It was such a lovely weekend baking with Toby and our customers 🍪✨

 

Over the course of the weekend, our showroom was filled with the smell of freshly baked cinnamon buns and warm cookies as customers joined us for two hands-on baking workshops with Great British Bake Off semi-finalist, Toby Littlewood.

 

From learning new techniques to seeing our working kitchens properly put through their paces, it was fantastic to watch everyone getting involved and leaving with boxes full of freshly baked treats to take home.

 

A huge thank you to Toby for another brilliant weekend and to everyone who came along and baked with us.
