Working mostly in Galmpton and Totnes, providing a range of services including planting, design, maintenance and tree work. I specialise in combining edible and otherwise useful plants with native species, with an aim to increase food production and create low maintenance gardens that can be enjoyed by both humans and wildlife.
Services offered: general maintenance (weeding, pruning, mowing, hedge trimming etc);
- garden design including vegetable, ornamental, mixed use, wildlife, forest gardens;
- tree work - pruning including removal of dead and damaged branches, coppicing, top grafting, transplanting & planting.

looking forward to treeplanting season and I'm sure all my trees in pots are to. I got a bit carried away propagating and hope to get most of them into the earth so they can spread out thier roots. In future I hope to do more direct sowing of trees and shrubs aswell as planting more hardwood cuttings directly into the ground where they are intended to reach maturity to avoid root damage,during transplanting.Its lovely seeing lots of new saplings emerging from pots but hard to keep up with if you plant alot leading some to get pot bound aswell as wilting when its dry and they are not watered enough. I may have to resist my seed sowing urges until I have more space or just scatter seeds and hope for the best.
