Bathroom Remodel for Landlady -
We were asked by our gas engineer friends at Moon Plumbing & Heating to assist in remodeling an existing bathroom space for a Landlady in Hevitree Exeter.
The land lady stripped out the old suite and tiles and supplied the bathroom suite. Abode - Property Developers were tasked with the wall preparation, carpentry and tiling in the room.
The clients had already bought the suite and fittings in the Victorian style so we carried on the style with sage green brick tiling with Jasmine grout on the walls.
To the bath we installed a moisture resistant bead & butt panelling and tied it in by using the same to the gas boiler cabinet.
The rest of the decorative timber work was traditional torus timber architrave and skirting to finish.
As a problem area minimum Pvc cloaking was installed around the existing window to help prevent water pe*******on during shower use.
As the property was to be let easy access to the bath service area for maintenance was created via hatch.
A service hatch was also included in the bottom of the boiler cabinet with the option of the bespoke boiler unit enable to slide forward for future boiler replacement.
