Following on in the footsteps of other companies, we too are giving our ‘incredible colleagues’ (Dean and Tracy) the time off to enjoy the Euro’s final.

We plan to open again either when the hangover wears off or the pain of disappointment ends!!!

First impressions are important so you can imagine Dean’s horror when he visited a client for a ‘free appraisal’ and the client greeted him and invited Dean in but whilst he pulled the front door to, Dean pulled the handle off!!!! 🤯

The client assured him that it’s just a job that ‘needs doing’!!!

It all ended well as we’ve already received the instruction to proceed!!!! 😂

It’s been a tough week for commuting.

We’ve just issued this project for a garage extension just up the road from us and this evening I carried out a survey for a neighbour (and a very nice bloke and a very good builder) just across the road!

Oh, and the tennis is on so I feel healthier!!!

Recommendations are great.

We received an enquiry on Thursday from a client that we produced drawings for last year and he recommended us to his business partner. Dean went to see him this morning, issued our proposal letter as soon as he got back and we’ve already been instructed to proceed. Dean is carrying out the survey on Wednesday.

We’ve also received an enquiry late this afternoon from a recommendation from a client we worked with back in 2017!

It’s not all work!! Sometimes we like to play!!!

As a family, we sometimes have a few giggles racing F2 stock cars (a full contact racing formula on short ovals surrounded in a big solid steel fence).

Our sons Harry and Vinnie started racing in the formula last season and this year they both race along with an ‘old guy’ (who drags down the good name of the team!!!) 😂

In three weeks time, Dean (the ‘old guy’) and his son Vinnie will be racing at Smeatharpe (near Honiton).

It’s always great when an existing client comes back with a new project so we’re delighted to receive an instruction for a detached garage on a property in Exminster following a loft conversion we drew up a few years ago.

This one is on a sloping site so a level survey will be required. I’d better wear my best glasses!!!!
