From the scent of wood to the glow of resin... I'm sharing the story behind Illuminarta.

My path here wasn't straight: I went from my Dad's carpentry lessons to corporate graphic design, took a detour into floristry, and finally landed in Fine Art. Every step shaped my eye for detail and my passion for making.

Now, I blend all those skills into bespoke furniture for homes across East Anglia. I'd love for you to read about my journey and my commitment to functional art.

Cassie did my headshots too and they are perfect.

BIG thank you to Cassie of Honeysuckle Photography for my new headshots. I attended her recent "Mini branding head-shots" day in Ipswich for images of me for my new website.

I felt very relaxed, and because of the silent shutter, I was not put off by the shutter-click sounds and therefore had a more natural expression.

My brief was very specific - the images needed a black background, so Cassie kindly adapted her normal light and airy style to accommodate what I had in mind. I am truly delighted with the outcome, exactly what I asked for.

Thanks Cassie - I will certainly recommend you to anyone looking for quality head-shots.

Something a little different. Just finished this bespoke made to order mantle clock using beautiful English Elm with a rich metallic emerald green epoxy resin and completed with a quartz time piece. This was created for a birthday present.
