Some privet beech and conifer hedges trimmed today.

Removal of Artificial Grass , and replacement with Turf.
(- Unfortunately-, thick concrete under the sharp sand made this a rather labour intensive job , with over 8 tonne of concrete being removed by hand , and through a narrow access door - no lifting machinery used in this one !)

A lawn that was full of moss / thatch and little water absorption I think through previous grass treatments and dry spells of weather.

Scarification , followed by aeration of the ground , treated with a chemical to assist the ground in water absorption and then after a few days to settle , top dressed with a quality loam soil seeded , and rolled.

Let’s hope the weather is kind to us and no morning frosts to allow a healthy germination process.

1 tonne

Must collect from 6 Springfield park, East ord, Berwick upon tweed.

Will be removed tomorrow night 15th April if not collected.
