Coming up next Sunday and practically next door. Titchfield always has lots of interesting gardens open, with most of them within walking distance of St Peter's church.

A much-anticipated tradition returns - the Titchfield Open Gardens takes place on the 7th June 2026!

A whole host of returning, stunning gardens as well as new gardeners showing off their amazing landscapes for the first time will welcome you around Titchfield village! Buy your ticket on the day or secure it now at Ticketsource (link below!) and arrive at St Peter's Church, Titchfield, to collect your wristband, your map, and chat to our guides to work out the best route for you!

If you're a National Trust member - or simply fancy a day out at Petworth House - they have some interesting gardening demonstrations and talks coming up over the next couple of weeks as part of their Spring Festival.

13th April demo 11:30 making your own wormery
14th April demos 11:30 composting or 2pm plant staking
15th April demos 11:30 composting or 2pm bee keeping
16th April talks 11:30 bee spotting and 2pm bee keeping
17th April talk 2pm Arthur Parkinson's gardening year
18th April talks 11:30 beautiful borders or 2pm wildlife gardening & climate change

If you'd like to learn about Fothergill's seeds, Stewarts Abbey garden centre have a talk on Thursday 9th April at 11am. Cost is £12.50 but this includes a cream tea! Details here: https://www.stewarts.co.uk/events (you will need to book).

Of course, it's our also own talk that evening. If you're a member admission is free and includes tea or coffee and biscuits. This month's talk is about Orchids and the members' competition is for a vase of up to 5 narcissi or daffodils.

Visit Stewarts Garden Centre in Dorset and Hampshire, near Christchurch, Wimborne, Titchfield, Bournemouth and Southampton.
