The Egyptians used gold leaf to adorn the tombs of pharaohs.

The Romans gilded the ceilings of their palaces and temples.

And today, we use those very same techniques to restore and gild the ceilings of some of Britain's most beautiful estate homes.

There's something about a stair refurbishment that completely transforms a home.

We recently refreshed this staircase from top to bottom. First papering the walls, painting spindles and fitting a beautiful stair runner to bring the whole space together. The result is a stunning entrance that feels elegant and full of character. The client was absolutely delighted and honestly, so were we!
