**SPOT THE DIFFERENCE**
Here's a great visual example to show you how our XPandaStores have changed over the years.
On the left, you'll find the Mk.1 XPandaStore thats been sitting proud for approx. 25 years. The MK.1 version does not have reinforced doors, walls, or wall frames. It also has no rounded aluminium corners, no captive nuts, a different corrugation pattern, and an overall much weaker system. This version of flat pack container is STILL sold by other companies that want a foot in the market.
On the right, you'll find the Mk.4 XPandaStore which is our best selling self-storage unit to date. Over the many years of product development and improvement, the humble XPandaStore has stayed looking relatively similar to its younger brother, the mk.1. However, if you know what to look for, they're miles apart. Just from this picture, you should see:
-The hinges have been changed to much sturdier, more attractive stainless steel hinges.
-The Mk.4 has die-cast aluminium rounded corners that are much stronger and much better looking.
-The corrugation is different! This came as a bi-product of strengthening the wall panels. We used to spot weld panels together, they're now cold formed, overlaid and riveted.
Although there aren't a lot of visual changes to our XPandaStore, our dedication to constantly improve and innovate our flat pack structures ensures we stay ahead of the competition.
