Contacted yesterday by a regular client regarding issues with the front door at a rental property. Upon inspection, it was found that the door had been repeatedly kicked, causing significant damage to the hinges. This prevented the door from closing correctly and made locking difficult.

Replacement hinges were sourced and ordered at 5:00 pm yesterday. Returned to site and completed the repair at 9:30 am this morning, fitting the new hinges and realigning the door. The door is now fully operational, closing and locking correctly.

The client was extremely pleased with the prompt turnaround, enabling them to proceed with preparing the property for incoming tenants.

Here’s what I found on last nights callout to a property in Sunderland where the front door panel had been deliberately kicked in by vandals thankfully they hadn’t caused any more damage and I managed to replace the panel and secure it back in and securing the property before leaving.

🌬️ Window Repair Update!

After the recent strong winds a client contacted me as it had done more more damage than the tenant had realised — they actually bent and damaged the window hinges, which meant the window wouldn’t close properly anymore.

After a closer look I ended up having to replace the hinges completely. Thankfully it’s all sorted now for the client and the window is opening and closing smoothly again.

A lovely little trip out to Chopwell this morning for a regular client having an intermittent problem with the front door of their newly refurbished rental property. Found the fault with the gearbox mechanism in the multi point locking system, swapped it for a new replacement and door now fully functional ready to accept new tenants.
