Another ongoing job of ours is this beautiful Swiss log cabin which a custom has asked up to assemble the amount of timber that turned up to build this cabin was frightening but slowly the piles dwindled down untill there was nothing left, the finishing touches are just going in like roofing material going down, this modern howdens kitchen going in and bathroom suits been fitted, this was our first time building one of these but overall the process was really easy and the end result looks great.

By using some met posts and panels from flixton saw mill we partitioned off this shared access driveway to give both houses a little bit of privacy what’s great about this system is you end up with a lovely looking fence without having to cause damage to the ground bellow like you would normally have to do when setting posts the traditional way.

Recently spent a day at Dixon’s warehouse in filey doing some shop maintenance, nothing massive this time, one of the tasks was to replace this rotten frame so using a product called marine ply which is better quality to be used outdoors we knocked up this with the new sign recessed in the frame with moulding around, it not only looks pretty but serves a fuction that it will no longer be able to blow down.

Love these little jobs just a nice easy job changing out an ugly old door for this composite door from Scarborough window centre above the door was finished of with flat trim and sealed up to make it all water tight

Access to this job was tricky evolving having to get a scaffold over a house to get to this Terrace area, due to this the old balcony was well past its best, we took down the old and replaced it with these uniform panels which now make it a safe area to access again.

You may recognise this garden if you are a regular on the page, recently we built this customer a pair of doors for their summer house, since then we have been called back to replace their rotten wrap around decking with this lovely treated decking, it was a pleasure to do with the angles and obstacle tree but the results speak for them selves.

We got called in by Beasley groundwork’s to apply the final touches to a garden renovation they had been working on, the customer had opted for a composite decking out from their patio doors, they chose this lovely caramel colour from the chart and we made the magic happen after that, we had never used this colour decking before but we are a huge fan of how it turned out.

Later down the line it came to fitting all the windows and doors in the extension allowing lots of light and perfect views of the putting green at the end of their garden
