🪴 Good Afternoon Everyone!

It has been a pretty grim start to 2026 weather wise, however here at Taylorlandscapes we’ve been busy working on a private residence in the local area.

Here you can see the previous retaining wall was in disrepair (leaning & rotting). Our works included the removal of said wall, replacing with approximately 80 sleepers which have a 25-year guarantee. We also lifted and relayed the slabs stepping down this property with equal step risers.

It now feels like a distant memory working in the sunshine, however here are some photos of a recently completed job at the start of this month.

Despite the recent change in weather in the area, the guys are persevering and getting through a high amount of work.

A fairly niche job whereby a gate and new fence was required for Stanhope Community Hub in order to improve safety and access. Installed to perfection and a very happy customer!

🌿 Bollard Installation 🌿

A busy time of year for everyone here at Taylorlandscapes!

A nice local job undertaken at Naseby Avenue where bollards have been installed in order to prevent travellers using the green space on behalf of Folkestone Town Council. Hopefully this now solves the problem so that children can still enjoy the green space for the last week of summer!

Taylorlandscapes has a vacancy for a full-time garden/landscaping labourer. Previous practical experience in this type of work would be highly desirable.
We are based in Folkestone, but our work takes us all around Kent.
Duties grounds maintenance and some hard and soft landscaping, so experience in using related machinery such as ride-on mowers, rotary mowers, hedge cutters, and strimmers would be an advantage. Training and guidance will be provided for all machinery. A clean driving licence and experience preferable.
A friendly, focused attitude and ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and authority.
Punctuality and ability to work as part of a team or on your own is essential. This role needs someone physically fit and able to work in all weathers.
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 7.30 to 4.30, but some flexibility is required.
Salary dependant on age and experience.
