An amazing transformation of space, ready for summer!

The maintenance of this old vegetable patch was becoming too much, so these clients decided to transform the area.

🪏 We levelled and compacted the soil.
🪏Built a low maintenance concrete wall to square off the area instead of having a wobbly wall. This will be cladded to soften it up at a later date.
🪏Reinforced sections of the wall
🪏 Rolled out a w**d membrane
🪏 Covered the area with Scalpings and sharp sand
🪏 Compacted the area and ensured it was level
🪏Rolled out another layer of w**d membrane

🌱 The artificial turf was then installed by another company. The strip on the left is temporarily laid and will be replaced with a new piece to ensure the grass perfectly blends together.

This Lean To Greenhouse was rotten and full of broken glass.

We rebuilt the greenhouse and reused the existing glass where possible. All broken glass was replaced with new.

The brick pier had failed so this was also removed and rebuilt in timber.

Another happy customer.

Christmas Sign Off, Hedgehogs and Huge Transformation 🧑‍🎄🦔 #

Thats us wrapped up for the year! Thank you so much to everyone that has helped us over the year and to all our amazing clients that have employed us.

Sorry for the massive dumping of photos but this is one of the projects we’ve been working on. As you can see, the transformation we have made downstairs is INSANE!

Weve replaced rotten floating floors and installed new joists, brick dwarf walls, chipboard flooring and new LVT flooring.

We have removed failed structural walls and rebuilt new.

Added insulation and resolved damp
Issues.

We have even recovered Hedgehogs that were hibernating under the floor!

A massive improvement and the client is over the moon. We will be back in the new year to attack the kitchen and finish off upstairs and finalise the downstairs.

Our latest Bathroom transformation

A big shift last week!

We removed the existing carpet and laminate flooring, self levelled the floor and laid just shy of 60 square meters of engineered wood flooring. Finished off with square edge skirting.

Some challenging cuts but the overall finish is stunning.

25/07/2024

The existing rectangular patio had sunk in places and some slabs had started to lift.

We removed all the slabs from the lower and upper patio and removed the remaining muck and soil where needed. This was all done by hand due to the lack of access.

We then built a new brick retaining wall and created an angle to give the illusion of space.

A new brick planter was built and modular sandstone slabs laid. We are really happy with the finished result.

Landscaping 🍃 🪴🌱

This garden was uneven, overgrown and unusable. Our objective was to make the garden more usable for our elderly client, whose mobility was worsening and had a limited budget to work with.

We started by digging out and removing the flower beds, grass and concrete slabs. This all had to be done by hand due to limited access.

We then built a decking area level with the back door. Raised and levelled the garden, ready for turf. Built planters at a comfortable height for her to work on. Created a hard level area for her to keep her storage container and to easily wheel the bins in and out.

Really happy with how this turned out and the huge transformation. The client is over the moon to now be able to use her garden and to have somewhere nice to sit and enjoy the sunshine ☀️

Well that’s us done for 2022! 🎅 🎁
