What a week! 🌧️☀️🌬️
We have returned from the Royal Cornwall Show in Wadebridge, where we joined our trade partners Outdoor Shading Cornwall for three days that had just about everything the British weather could throw at us.
Day one brought rain and wind on an outside stand. Not ideal, but the customers who did make the effort to come and find us in those conditions were clearly serious about outdoor shading - you have to be pretty motivated to shop for awnings in the rain!
Day two brought sunshine and some excellent leads. Simon and Mel missed it, slipping away to celebrate daughter Alyssa's 21st birthday, but were ably deputised by our sales rep Jamie who held the fort brilliantly. 🎉
Day three brought a yellow wind warning and eventually, with the safety of exhibitors and visitors rightly the priority, the decision was made to call off the event. Completely understandable, and the right call.
Despite the weather doing its worst, the quality of conversations we had made the trip worthwhile, and it was great to be out on the road with the team at Outdoor Shading Cornwall.
Here's to drier shows for the rest of the year. ☀️
