Last day with my full time throwers. We repeated our first days exercise throwing with 800grams and trying to make cylinders as high as we can. It was great to see how much they had all improved. Thank you to all of you you were such a great bunch of students I will miss you, it is always sad seeing you go, but we will keep in touch

We were so lucky that Katharina was happy to spend a couple of days with my full time throwing students. She is a wonderful artist and teacher. The students loved their time with her and learnt so much. It was great to have her after Jeremy so different but the contrast great for the students. Thank you Katharina. .

Jeremy with his students yesterday, we had to say goodbye 😂 We have Katharina Klug with us today😃 Her 2 days with my full time throwing students had to be delayed until this week because she tested positive with COVID last week. But she is fully well and wonderful now. I will post images from her visit tomorrow. .

We are so lucky to have Jeremy Steward here with us for a couple of days. He is inspiring my full time throwing students in their last week. His teaching is wonderful so generous playful and thought provoking. I love his work and will post more over the next few days. .

Today throwing in sections with my students. It was a tuff day but we learnt a lot. The first and last photos are of Marija’s wonderful giant goblet vases. She throw the deep bowl form , trimmed them and then added a thick coil to the bottoms which she then throw to form the stem. I love them brilliant for flowers well done Marija .
