That’s me finally finished up for the year!

Just a big thank you to all my lovely customers for supporting JGS Gardening Services this year, it really does mean a lot.

🌿 Early Season Lawn Prep

This lawn already looked pretty decent — but we’re setting it up to look its best for summer.

Stage one of the spring treatment plan now complete:
• Scarifying to remove moss and thatch
• Iron sulphate application to harden the turf, darken the grass, and suppress moss

In a few weeks, we’ll be back to re-scarify and overseed, giving this lawn a fresh, thick finish ready for the warmer weather.

Spring Project: From Lawn to Low-Maintenance Stone Garden 🪴

Love with how this garden turned out — and proud to say it’s the first time I’ve done a full stone job like this!

We completely transformed the space from a tired grass bed into a clean, low-maintenance front garden that looks sharp and fresh.

The full process included:
• Scarifying and clearing the old lawn
• Rotivating and preparing the bed
• Planting new shrubs
• Laying w**d membrane
• And finally… topping it off with decorative stone

Massive thank you to Cotside Quarry for the quick delivery and great quality stone and Ashbrook Nursery, Garden Centre & Cafe for the selection of shrubs and plants 🌱
