I’ve always recommend The Rodfather to customers ever since a client of mine had a survey from another company saying that they needed thousands of pounds worth of repairs to their drains.
I suggested that they call the Rodfather to do a second survey as I’d heard good things about him. He came to their property and did a camera survey himself. His survey was an honest one and showed that they didn’t need any work at all.

Today I was impressed by his honesty once again. This time I called because I had a blockage at my own property, that I couldn’t shift with my equipment. Rather than just coming round and charging me to remove the blockage he asked a few pertinent questions and then informed me that I could get the blockage moved for free as it was on Southern Water owned lines.

How many companies do you know that operate with such honesty and integrity?
(Apart from me of course 😉)

I’ll always recommend the Rodfather for any drainage issues.
He’s definitely number one for your number twos!!

It astounds me how some tradesmen act.

I went to look at a wall hung Heatrae Sadia FBM yesterday. It’s an electric water heater.

The lady was clearly disabled and struggled with her mobility. Her complaint was that there was no hot water.

Now I’ve never worked on one of these before but a little perseverance and I had it going. It actually turned out to be a simple fix as it was just an airlock.
If It had been the case that I hadn’t been able to work it out I would have contacted Heatrae Sadia for their advice and found out if their own service engineer could attend and arranged it for the lady.
I certainly wouldn’t have done what the four previous tradesmen had done and just left her with no hot water after seeing an appliance they were unfamiliar with.

I wouldn’t have charged but she insisted I took £20.

Just completed.

Installed complete with a Magna Clean filter and Calmag scale reducer to protect it. Simple timer controls paired with a GlowWorm Climastat give good control and meet Boiler Plus legislation.
Re filled with quality MC1 inhibitor, tested and a new gas safety certificate issued.
Covered with a 10 year warranty and completed at an extremely competitive price difficult to beat.

A recent install of a Worcester 24ri.
There was one quote cheaper than mine by £200 but the customer had the good sense to realise that the boiler and filter I had quoted for retails for £250 more and I was also offering an extra 3 years warranty making mine the better deal by far.
Check your quotes carefully.
Make sure you know what you're getting for your money.
Check that your installer flushes your system with cleanser before installing and re fills with a quality inhibitor afterwards.

At Boilerman I always strive to give the highest quality at the lowest price with the longest available warranty.

I took out an old Worcester CDi that was far beyond economical repair, chemically cleaned and flushed the system and have replaced it with this nice new GlowWorm Ultimate 30 complete with climapro wireless controls, scale reducer and Magna Clean system filter protecting the boiler for life.

Now made by Vaillant and coming with a 10 year warranty it’s a great boiler if you’re on a budget.
The customer was more than happy as I beat other quotes by a substantial amount.
