Late in 2022, Ubique Architects achieved planning approval for 50 dwellings for older persons living accommodation, on land to the south of View Road, Cliffe Woods. The application was for approval of reserved matters and had previously suffered numerous refusals from previous architectural practices.

Because of the checked planning history, Ubique took their new design through a pre-planning enquiry, making presentations to both the Planners and Parish. The design ducks were lined up and the planning committee voted to approve. The scheme’s success relied on a landscape led strategy which aimed to soften the rural edge of the village. Other ecology issues, such as adjoining ancient woodland and a local nightingale population were also addressed within the submission.

Ubique Architects recently carried out a site visit at our development of flats in Orpington. The site visit allowed us to see the progress on site and complete quality assurance checks. Lubbock House will comprise 43 one bedroom retirement apartments for Moat Homes Moat Homes. McCulloch Homes aim to complete the construction in early 2024.

Ubique secured planning approval for the redevelopment detached dwelling into 8 apartments.

Ubique under the role of lead consultant took the project from inception to completion as set out in the RIBA Stage of Works 1-7.

The project is currently being constructed with a further 2 apartments being considered by the planning department.
