Happy New Year to all. Hope all had fun over Christmas. My New Year's resolution is to try and post more.
Been hard at it first week back. Fitting curtains and blinds for Sloan Monteith, building more IKEA units, a daughter's Christmas present, plus the usual silicone work, door handle and lock fixing after visiting relatives ruined peoples homes😏.
If you are needing stuff done give me a shout.

Hi all. Hope all well with you. Photos of job done recently. Getting good at this IKEA stuff. Managed to put this one all together in a couple of hours.
Ok, apologies in advance for mentioning it, but Christmas not that far away. I know I know but if you are looking to have stuff done for Santa time please get in touch sooner rather than later. Diary filling up already for October.
Also as some of you may remember I took part in DIY SOS earlier this year. They have started their run of programmes and hopefully my episode will be appearing soon. Will keep you updated. Take care.

Back to day job after DIY SOS. This was a tough one getting at base of sink with mirror so close behind. But where there is a will there is a way. Client was very chuffed with finished result.

Last day working for DIY SOS. Been a great experience. Met and worked beside some great people. Including this guy from Last Lawns Plus. Well with a name like that of course he would be great guy. He put is some serious shifts and Fraser and Last Lawns Plus can immensely proud of the changes they have made to the rear of property. Hopefully I may even make an appearance on the show. Hopefully shown towards end of the year. Will keep you updated.

Days 3 and 4 some hard graft put in. Vest showing signs of wear. I had better of lost some weight doing this, but saying that breakfast baps in the morning are hard to resist 😂. Last day tomorrow and the final push. Phew!

Day three down. Promoted to work with chippies/joiners. What did I learn today? Why chippies hate fitting insulation. Newbie had to cut the kingspan and fit 🙄. Did learn other things and still smiling. Looking forward to wee break over weekend whilst plasterers do their stuff. Back at it Monday. Have a good weekend all.

Day two down. After being a bit too quick to volunteer on day one, today started at 5am with a wee jaunt down Blackburn to pick up plumbing supplies, and not the one in West Lothian, the one by Manchester 🤦‍♂️🙄. Couldn't say no after offering. 🤷‍♂️New truck was great to drive. Still made it back to site for 12ish. Nice chat with the man himself Nick, and praise from "Hod" for staying back to fit insulation. Looking forward to tomorrow. Honest graft is great.

Day one down. Amazing experience. Cracking day for it and amazing the amount of work that got done. Never seen a rip out and skips filled so fast. Absolutely buzzing. 👷‍♂️

Who says you can't have fun at work. Built this set up recently and despite odd bit of rain was rather enjoyable. Starting tomorrow will be starting a very rewarding job and something I have wanted to do for a long time. I will be helping out on the BBC's DIY SOS Big Build on the southside of Glasgow for the next seven days. Really looking forward to it. Updates once project completed and the big reveal has been done with the deserving family. Cheers, Frazman.

You could say it was a "long day" today. 😏Fitting this full wall to wall ceiling fix curtain track with sheers. Working for David Sloan of Sloan Monteith Soft Furnishings. Seriously though it's not long till summer hols time and my diary is filling fast. Not many dates left so get in touch as soon as possible if needing work done soonish. In meantime enjoy the sun. 😎 Frazman

Working alongside a lovely lady today kitting out a house renovation for the letting market. Really well organised, great attention to detail and flare for maximising space potential. Was even more impressed by her computer skills!! Something I am not good at but her mood boards and 3D images of the job gave a real insight to what each room would look like. Great help to me. If you are looking for an interior designer well worth a look.
