As much as our primary focus is domestic extensions and alterations, I’ve been designing this today. Just a small handle for the blinds that keeps on breaking but having it 3D printed to see if the modifications to strengthen have worked.

I’m thinking about doing a leaflet drop in my local area to try and raise awareness of the work I do and to see if I can generate some leads from it. What are your thoughts on leaflets coming through your door? Do you fire them straight in the recycling, have a quick look over it then bin it, or keep it “just in case”? As always, a like and a share appreciated.

Hey everyone. I’ve been trying out an app called My Builder for the past few weeks. The idea being you get notified of people looking to get drawings done for planning and/or building warrant submission. You can express an interest in a job and if you get shortlisted, you are charged a “handshake” fee. No issue with that as business is business. Hoping that it leads to some work as it’s a different approach to what would be traditionally done. Question is, do you think an app like My Builder is a good approach or should I put my money behind some Facebook advertising/flyers instead? Thoughts appreciated. Cheers,

Hi everyone, apologies for the lack of updates of late. I’ve had some personal stuff going on and with COVID still very much a thing, this page had slipped down my to do list. The extension is finished now and I’ll post up some “progress” pictures tomorrow. We’re both really happy with how it’s turned out. Just need to get the garden sorted now before the good weather comes back. Well, when I say good... lol

Hi everyone. Now, I don’t normal get to see the building work in progress but since this is my house, I’m right in about it! Sadly lost a week due to the weather (typical lol) but making progress and hopefully will get a wee break from the rain. Brickies are coming on Wednesday (hopefully) to get us out of the ground. Fingers crossed.
