Come and join our Heritage Consultant, Kirsti Mackenzie, as she takes part in this Doors Open Days event at the Gallery of Modern Art. She’ll be speaking about the fascinating insights to the development of this special building that the conservation team uncovered as part of their research for the works that we undertook at GoMA this year. The event is themed around addressing the difficult legacy of slavery and Glasgow’s buildings and other speakers and artists will also be sharing their work related to the GoMA and its long past.

Handover Day!

Delighted to give partial possession of the main climbing hall to Above Adventure. By reusing this B listed building, Above Adventure can now offer a fabulous new facility for , and the community.

The building features a bouldering hall and main lead climbing wall with a new link building with cafe and reception.

The work has been undertaken by Emtec Property Services Ltd, we've been assisted by Narro and Reid Associates in the design. Its 10 years since my first visit with Douglas Wheeler and a massive change! The detail stages of the project has been led by Scott Abercrombie with Nadia Malekian as project architect.

It's looking great and we're looking forward to seeing the doors open to the public in a few weeks.
