✨ Project Complete – Alcove Storage & Internal Alterations ✨

We’ve recently wrapped up this lovely project, completely transforming how this room works while keeping its character.

Works included:
• Removal of existing patio doors
• Opening blocked up to window cill height and a new window installed
• Bespoke alcove storage fitted either side of the chimney breast
• Client’s existing desk carefully integrated on one side
• Made-to-measure MDF cupboard unit built on the other
• Oak floating shelves installed
• New sockets added and radiator relocated
• Full redecoration to finish the space off

The end result is a much more practical, balanced room with plenty of storage, workspace, and a clean, timeless finish.

🛠️ Progress Update from All Squared Construction 🛠️

We don’t post as often as we should — not because we’re quiet, but because we’ve been flat-out busy on a whole range of projects. Here’s one we’ve been working on this week: bespoke alcove units with floating shelves, now ready for the decorating stage.

We’re also excited to say that we now use AI visualisation to help clients see their projects before we start. Below is the real build so far alongside the AI mock-up we created beforehand.

We completely opened up and modernised this space by:
✅ Removing the old kitchen
✅ Knocking down the wall between the kitchen and dining room
✅ Blocking up the double doors
✅ Removing the patio doors
✅ Fully rewiring and adjusting the central heating system
✅ Skimming all walls and ceilings for a fresh new look
✅ Laying beautiful LVT herringbone flooring
✅ Fitting a gorgeous new kitchen with a breakfast bar, integrated appliances, and feature lighting

The end result is a bright, open-plan space that’s perfect for modern living.

We’ve been a bit quiet on here lately — only because we’ve been incredibly busy delivering projects for our clients 👷‍♂️💬

Here’s one we’ve just wrapped up and couldn’t resist sharing.

This property originally had a solid stud wall with a basic steel handrail. We replaced it with a bespoke oak and glass balustrade, completely transforming the space. The result is a brighter, more open feel that adds a real touch of quality and craftsmanship ✨🔨

Before launching All Squared Construction, we began as carpenters — and while we now take on full extensions and refurbishments, we still take pride in detail-focused projects like this.
