Sometimes nature provides the interest in the garden. This large Camellia had lots of thin and straggly branches on its lower quarter due to deer eating it. After trimming it to a naturally thick point it made this shape! Very effective and very serendipitous!

Pink and white go together wonderfully. Layering different plants and types of flowers that bloom at the same time can enhance the combo further. We love creating these spaces.

Sometimes a small border can be changed very quickly. This will fill out beautifully this year so will need to do another video. Plants of different colours leaves that are evergreen for winter and flowers through spring and summer.

It might look like a sea of brown but mulch does a lot! It stabilizes newly dug beds and prevents run off in heavy rain. It breaks down to feed the soil and the plants that grow in it. Helps to protect roots in winter. Keeps the ground moisture up during dry spells. It suppresses w**d growth, and let’s be honest it really does smarten up a flower bed. Now is a great time to mulch so get in touch for a quote.
