This week we've had Harvey on a one-week trial with us to see if he's interested in becoming a plumber. He may potentially become our next apprentice, with a weekly schedule that includes one day at college and four days of hands-on training with one of our experienced plumbers. So far, he's learned how to install and connect radiators, all under Kaya's watchful eye. -water

A first class Megaflo install completed by . Beautiful pipe work skilfully installed in a roof space for a local customer. And who doesn’t love that section of 22mm copper with two 90 degree bends and each end, just above the wiring centre.😍😍. And all finished off with insulation..but all pics taken before covering it all up with the dull grey insulation!!

Unfortunately we have had yet another vehicle break in again resulting in stolen tools. It's so disheartening that this is a regular occurance for us and other similar businesses. Despite additional security alarms and deadlocks, you can't prevent these determined, disgusting people from carrying out these crimes, which affect all of us with eye watering increases in insurance premiums and not being able to get to our customers while we have vehicles repaired and replace stolen tools. I wish that our government and the police would treat these crimes more seriously and actively investigate them..Also vehicle manufacturers need to improve the security of vehicles that they produce. We suspect that these tools will end up for sale at a car boot sale for a fraction their true worth.

Cellar Boiler Installation. 50KW 8000 Worcester Bosch Life boiler in and out goes a 1970's gas guzzling floor standing monster boiler. Upgraded the system and all controls. Customer now has independent control of heating and hot water and can be activated through their Hive Smart Thermostat. Individual room temperatures can be regulated with the Drayton TRV4 thermostatic radiator valves that have been fitted. Loved this job ❤️.

We're having lots of calls this week from customers reporting their boiler has stopped working. Due to the freezing temperatures we're experiencing, there is a chance that the condensate pipe has frozen causing the boiler to lock down. Luckily, this isn't a big problem and it can be easily resolved yourself without the need for an engineer. Here is some helpful advise from Worcester Bosch....
