This Sunday… Fat Dads United vs Goole Athletic. 11am KO South Park

Now let’s get one thing straight, Goole Athletic might be “new”, but this isn’t some Sunday league startup full of strangers. This is basically the old Port Goole lads… minus the racism and the “pay-to-play” Doncaster ballerinas who thought they were too good to graft.

Instead of rotting away in the depths of a 6th reserves team (where even Google Maps struggles to find the league tables), these boys did something rare… they stuck together, backed each other, and built their own club. Proper football people. No egos, no nonsense.

Big respect to Harry Hamilton, he’s pulled more strings than a dodgy hamstring and managed to get a decent squad together. Credit where it’s due 👏

As for Fat Dads United… expect:
⚽ 5-minute bursts of quality followed by 20-minute recovery periods
⚽ Touches that belong in a crime report
⚽ And enough shouting to wake up half of Goole

And finally… breaking news:
Simpson gets a start.

After 7 years of wearing the same boots (last seen in the lost and found sometime around 2017), he’s finally dug deep… and bought a new pair.

Since then?
⚽ Lung-busting runs
⚽ Goals in training
⚽ Looking like a man reborn

Turns out it wasn’t lack of ability… just absolutely shocking footwear.

Big things expected Sunday. Or at the very least, 10 solid minutes before he needs a sit down.

But jokes aside – this is what football SHOULD be:
Two local teams
All respect
All banter
All for charity

No politics, no drama… just a load of lads enjoying the game and raising money for a good cause.

12mm herringbone by Luxe. Fitted throughout most of the ground floor & new extension, around a 3 metre wall and an island in the kitchen with a granite worktop. Thresholds to existing room only 😮‍💨

Yesterday me and my little apprentice Hunter fitted a room with LVT. We put a boarder in and some strips to really make the room unique. Using 2 different types of lvt to create this stunning finish.

Hunter grafted his little socks of. Kept everything tidy and was really helpful today. His work eithic already at the age of 10 is something I’ve never seen in a young lad. He will go far in life if he keeps this up.

Lovely laminate for this customer. They’ve freshened up their room and decided new flooring was in order.

They chose HDF laminate which is long lasting and water resistant.

Transforming rooms in people’s homes 🏠

Finished this stunning new kitchen with LVT today. Customer decided on herringbone, with a boarder and strip inserts. I also managed to match the door bars to the colour of the door handles and door stop in the kitchen.
