A new client asked me to transform his sitting room. The curtains in situ at the time had been there for decades. The bay window had 4 curtains which massively impacted on the light coming into the room. I recommended having one pair to sit either side of the window.
He has quite a highly patterned and colourful rug in the room so we went with a plain fabric complimented by a braid. The braid adds so much to the curtains, it picks up the colours in the rug and mirrors the similar design.
A large bay window facing the garden is now installed with plain roman blinds with a simple coordinating rope braid along the base of each blind.
Client is over the moon with his new curtains and blinds.

It’s been very busy this week with lots of fittings, I shall look forward to finishing work today for a good rest.
We installed several blinds this week for a lady in Henley-on-Thames. Beautiful fabrics which worked so well with the chosen wall colours.

An elegant bay window now dressed with curtains ready for the winter months.
This fabric, part of the Architect collection by is excellent value. The client and I were slightly hesitant due to the incredible price point but we went with it and the fabric drapes beautifully. We decided on blackout lining so the subtle pattern wasn’t lost as this is a lovely sunny room.
We installed a 50mm Metropole by which of course glides beautifully.
