Moore Interiors Wales Ltd are on the lookout for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Team on a contract to potential permanent basis in Swansea. The company Growing rapidly and is entering a busy period and are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who has worked on Commercial Refurbishment’s to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in managing costs, contracts, and financial aspects of construction projects within the commercial sector.
Role Responsibilities:
·Prepare accurate cost estimates for refurbishment projects
·Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and control costs.
·Administer contracts, including subcontractor agreements.
·Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
·Perform detailed quantity take-offs for materials and labour.
·Collaborate with site teams to assess project requirements.
·Estimate quantities for Commercial Refurbishment, retail shopfitting, and related items.
·Identify potential risks related to cost, schedule, and quality.
·Mitigate risks through effective planning and communication.
·Analyse project data to make informed decisions.
·Maintain accurate records of project costs, variations, and progress.
Role Requirements:
·Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or related field
·Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with exposure to the interior fit out industry
·5 years minimum experience as a Quantity Surveyor
·Estimating experience and proficiency in using cost estimating software and tools.
·Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs.
