Exciting Times at Salt & Sage Bistro! 🎉🔑

It’s been just over a week since we picked up the keys, and we’ve been busy sprinkling a little Salt & Sage magic all over our new home! ✨ From fresh paint to big plans, we’re making it truly ours – but after sitting empty for a long time, let’s just say… there’s a lot to do! 🛠️😅

This week has been all about paint rollers, power tools, and plenty of coffee as we freshen up the space. Huge thanks to Stag Systems for making sure our security and fire systems are top-notch – because the only unexpected surprises we want are the good kind (like a free dessert, not a rogue smoke alarm!). 🔧🚪

Stay tuned for behind-the-scenes chaos, sneak peeks at our mouth-watering menu, and all the little (and big!) things that will make Salt & Sage your new favourite spot. 🍽️💛

International Women’s Day!!

Today we had the absolute pleasure of attending an International Women’s Day event at the Marriott Portsmouth, hosted by the inspiring and tenacious Becky Lodge a launch event for Desk2Educate Ltd partnered with many amazing local businesses, supporting The Girls Network - Becca Dean MBE - a truly magnificent cause.

The panel of speakers hosted by Holly Smith - Tammy Markley, Donna Jones, Olivia Breen, Becca Dean, Becky Lodge and also including the last minute invaluable addition of Harry Riley (in the absence of behalf of Amanda Martin MP) were each inspirational, transparent and ‘Happy’ to quote Livvy.

Our own Director of Operations, leanne__camburn was very proud to also be able to support her University of Portsmouth, Business and Law ‘Help to Grow Management cohort (54!)’ Robyn Barron-Martin, Eva Bose, Alison Edward and Monika Szpreglewska for exhibiting their businesses and growth prospects at such an esteemed event.

IT’S NATIONAL APPRENTICESHIP WEEK!

To celebrate we’re shining a light on our very own apprentice, Harvey. Whilst he has been working with us at Stag Systems for almost a year now, getting as much hands on experience as he can, last month he began his 3 year Fire and Security apprenticeship course at Chichester College and we couldn’t be prouder of his progression so far!

Harvey has integrated very well within our Team and shows the potential of being a great Engineer. Working towards achieving a Level 3 in Fire, Emergency and Security Systems Technician means he has a lot of knowledge and skill to learn over the coming years, and we hope you will join us in wishing him all the best.
