I LOVE to be outside surrounded in nature🌾. Creating harmony between us and our living space is important. Using natural materials, grounding colours, and soft curves with a little pop of gold! 😍

It's been a long time since I posted anything on social media so this year I will be making more time to keep you updated as to what I am up to!

So, putting 2020 behind us, I wanted to look at Dulux's colour of 2021!

Brave Ground; I'll be honest...I wasn't overly excited when I first saw it. But Its neutral, warm and pairs beautifully with so many different colour palettes! It has really grown on me. I love the concept of biophilic design (I will be going into this in more detail soon!) so this colour is the perfect base colour for a lot of natural and raw materials! 🤩

I have put together a few boards using Brave Ground and Dulex's Trust and Earth colour inspirations.

As I close for Christmas, I'd just like to say thank you to all of my new clients, friends and family for their support this year.

This year has been difficult for many and starting a business was definitely not an easy task during 2020! You have all been amazing!

I am excited to share this latest design put together for a lovely couple who are converting a small barn for an annex. They wanted warmth with a minimal yet farmhouse style to stay in keeping with the rest of the property, whilst incorporating a freestanding larder unit they already have.

I love wood! It is so versatile in so many ways and brings warmth and character to any home. Natural materials are so important when it comes to wellness. Humans thrive on a connection to nature and it doesn't just have to be plants you bring in. You can bring nature in by choosing materials you would find outside.

The wood doors and natural stone worksurface bring a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, whilst the shelving brings in little fuss and clean lines. My client has chosen to paint their bespoke larder unit in farrow and ball's sulking room pink! Beautiful 😍

From brief to completion.
My brief was to create a working kitchen within a small space, it had to be minimal, workable, feminine and create a wow factor within an already beautiful design suite.

By using drawers as appose to cupboards you can maximise both depth and height whilst being able to see and access everything you store inside them, without getting on your hands and knees to navigate your way through the darkness!

The kitchen also comprised of two single ovens, a hob and extractor, integrated fridge with freezer compartment and a slim-line dishwasher.

Who says you need a large kitchen to create a beautiful workable space! 😍
