FAQ
Cost - 5 goats at £10 per goat per week basic cost.
How long does it take? - Depending what there is to clear. Thickness and type of vegetation etc.
Average 1 acre approx 4 weeks.
Terrain - Rough uneven ground is no problem.
What will the eat - Goats are renowned for eating anything and I have to agree they pretty much do!
Shelter - Goats are incredibly hardy and ask for very little but do like a basic bit of shelter (trees, lean to pallet shelter) if the weather is extreme 🌧 ❄️ 🌞
Goat Vs machine. Goats are eco friendly, gentle grazers, get to areas inaccessible to machines, do not re-seed and not to mention the entertainment is priceless!

We're based near Grantham so only hire the goats within 10-15 miles incase I need to visit.
Hiree generally does daily checks and ensures there is water on site.
I can factor in me doing visits but this would incur extra cost.
No footpaths to run by where goats are working.
People with loose dogs pose a danger!

Fencing - Not needed!
The no fence system works with an app where I draw a perimeter on a map to enclose the area to be grazed (white lines on pic).
The goats wear a collar that warns them off when they get too close.
You can exclude an area that needs to be avoided and move perimeters as and when needed.
The picture shows where the animal has been and clearly shows how they avoid the excluded area

The goats are used to horses and help out a pony with laminitis by munching the paddock down so the pony can enjoy freedom without the risk of health 🐎 🐐

Brambles are a firm favourite for the 🐐 🐐 ☘️ 🍀 🌿
Brambles/goats work on a 3 time grazing cycle that should eradicate them....
1st Eat leaves and plant cant photosynthesize.
2nd Eat new runners and leaves and trample old wood.
3rd Clean up any stragglers and again trample dead wood into the ground.

Goat poo doesnt re-seed as by the time it passes through the goat the seed is not viable.
Goat poo is great organic fertilizer.
