We were able to visit our Belgravia restaurant renovation for this week, it was great to see it so busy.

The restaurant expanded into next door to greatly increase dining capacity and create a cheese and wine tasting space at basement level. We think it’s come together beautifully.

Finally leaving first fix phase on our Duke Humphrey Road project.

This property had water ingress issues in the basement. To remedy this efficiently, a Delta membrane and pump system had to be installed. This allows water to pass down the walls into a perimeter drain, to then be pumped away. This is the highest level of damp proof protection on offer.

After stud work, first fix plumbing and electrics. We’re now ready to start making the place look nice again!

Some progress shots from our Duke Humphrey Road project. As with most renovations on older properties, there often needs to be bespoke solutions to hidden problems. For example, the lower ground floor required a pumped water transfer system which moves underground water from the walls and floor via the delta membrane as shown, into a drain externally. This ensures damp protection indefinitely.

Some progress on our structural alteration project in partnership with Greenwich Council and Woodnut Construction. These 3 properties had severe subsidence issues, to be corrected with partial demolition/reconstruction and full structural underpinning.

The building is to be used as an office and garden storage. The storage section is accessed by concealed doors on the right so nothing detracts from the effect of the Canadian cedar, perfectly installed by

The building was constructed in a stud timber frame as this is more cost effective than masonry while allowing a higher insulation rating and not compromising on structural strength, so a win win for these types of constructions.
