Greens are differently the new grey

A lot of work in the end in this front room after racking out airline cracks in the ceiling it turned into scraping half the ceiling back where previous paint didn’t adhere.

Ceiling finished in
Walls finished in Durable Matt
Woodwork finished in scuff x

~TRANSFORMATION~

Handrails and post caps stripped back to bare wood and oiled in clear satin
Doors oiled in clear satin to match

Ceilings where in bit of a bad state with a lot of cracks running through them, racked out Peel stop then fillflex left to dry overnight then scrim tapped and filled over
Finished in AR2

Walls filled and sanded and finished in durable Matt

Woodwork sanded and face filled using Woodfiller and finished in Scuff X

Ceiling sanded back and sealed then 3coats of ar2 applied

Walls had a fair share of filler due to plaster cracking had a lot of preparation to be done to get to finishing stage. Walls finished in durable Matt

••LOUNGE••

Airline crack galore

Got a nasty surprise with this lounge , due to bad preparation from the plasterer over time the surface cracks made there way through the plaster meaning it was time for the decorator to set up and sort lol.

All airline cracks racked out hoovered and sealed using peel stop then fillflex to the rescue let over night to set , face filled then scrimmed taped and then filled again took about 2fills then skimmed the hole wall on final skim to blend it all in, area lightly sanded then sealed using Gardz
Chosen colour was then applied

Bedroom redecorated

Wallpapered removed which uncovered some nice cracks a lot of repair work done in this room on the walls and ceiling just due to its age.
Once the main cracks repaired I could then skim the walls to make as smooth as possibles
Sealed using Gardz before applying the finish colour
Colour on walls where JOA’s White mixed in durable Matt
Ceiling finished in ar2
Woodwork haftprimer finished in scuff x
Radiator sprayed using
