New step built and tiled in this pool in Little Hallingbury.

👎 The original step down into the pool was too much…

✅ Safer access for elderly and disabled users…

✅ Safer access for the kids…

Win win.

Almost finished on this one….

✅ Tracks for the Coverstar automatic cover system removed (due to poor installation) and then reinstalled to spec.

✅ Paving re-laid to level, after leaks from pipework caused the paving to drop loads.

✅ 2 x deck box’s installed for access to the return bearings on the track.

✅ Pit trays for the cover re done.

A few finishing touches and onto the next one….

Fixing the paving on another Aqualeaf pool this week. Coming across these far too often….

If you’ve had a pool built by Aqualeaf, and aren’t happy with the finished results, you are not alone.

A lot of unhappy customers created thanks to this lot.

Do you want to volunteer for one of our community projects?

We need volunteers for Newport Primary Schools Big Garden Rebuild! Please sign up if you can help, even a few hours is appreciated 🙏🏼

THE BIG BUILD WEEKEND!
8th&9th March 2025 9:30am-4:30pm

🏫 Here at Viking, you know we like to volunteer within the local communities. We are proud to lend our expertise and time to benefit local children.

⚒️ Our next venture is to help Newport Primary School. They have long awaited renovation to their Music Garden, however funding and lack of help has prevented this happening. As a result the Music Garden has remained unsafe, and closed to the children for several years.

💷We have secured funding through grants to repair the garden to make it a safe space again. HOWEVER, we would love to take it a step further for the children as they have gone so long without it.

🌻 One area with raised beds is perfect to create a sensory garden. Our vision is to have the raised beds planted with swooshy, fragrant, bright and soft plants, with bird feeders, bug hotels, wind chimes and garden mirrors to create a calm, soothing space. We would also love to put up bird and bat boxes and paint the existing timber bright colours to make it an inviting space. The greenhouse will also be renovated to include supplies for children to grow plants.

💜 A space like this would be incredibly valuable for the mental wellbeing of the children.

🙏🏼 This is where we need your help! We are looking for donations of plants (we have a list!), bird feeders, bird boxes, bug hotels, bird bath, bird table, garden mirrors, wind chimes (wooden if possible so quieter), bright coloured paint, and anything you may think would help attract pollinators and a calming environment. Also any children's gardening tools, gloves, pots, seeds, compost, to get them started growing in the greenhouse.

👊🏼 Our last plea is to any local businesses, could you help in anyway to make this school's dreams come true of reopening their Music Garden?

New fencing installed in Saffron Walden last year.

Full pool refurb, tile band replaced, coping stones cleaned, lifted and re-layed.

Brand new paving, and the curved step re done.

New skimmer access lids installed, and new footings for the pool steps installed.

A redesign done to this garden in GC to make space for a lovely Robinson Greenhouse!! This one is from the renaissance range. 👌

Brick soldier course replaced with reclaimed rustic copings, corners re-built and a small sleeper bed was installed to cover an unsightly tree stump! 👍🏻
