The Nepeta has just about finished flowering and now looking a bit tired and untidy. A little job for next week will be to cut back to keep it compact but also to encourage a second flush of flowers at the end of the season.

A great flowering combination could be Nepata paired with yellows of Alchemilla Mollis, white daisies and blue Iris.
