A kitchen project completed for a great young family, in their first new house in Runcorn.

The customer got in touch via Facebook with a design and price they'd already had from B&Q.

We then planned, re-designed it, supplied & installed their new kitchen, along with all the building works in just 2 weeks.

Our kitchen units were prebuilt solid grey 18mm carcases, with Dove grey slab doors, panels, plinth, cornice and pelmet.

The first day the kitchen was removed, along with the wall tiles & floor tiles.

1st fix electrics including new LED ceiling spotlights and 1st fix plumbing, including removing an old oven gas feed from the back end of the kitchen.

We also removed the big boxing in that was hiding the soil stack and water pipes. All the old small skirting boards were also taken off, to avoid a scotia beading having to be fitted.

The plasterers then boarded the artexed ceiling, bonded & skimmed the entire room.

The kitchen fitters then installed the carcasses. The worktops were 40mm Lamura (British made) laminate Sherwood Oak, with matching 100mm upstands.

The appliances supplied and fitted were a single oven, a 4-ring black electric hob with a black matching integrated canopy extractor in the above wall unit. A black toughed heat resistant glass splashback was fitted behind the hob as a feature. A grey single granite sink & brushed steel swaneck tap that the customer had chosen, to match the brushed steel cupboard door handles.

To finish off the kitchen project LVT click plank effect flooring was fitted in the kitchen, hallway and storage room. These are made from plastic and are 100% waterproof. Then finally 5 inch pre primed skirting boards were fitted, all ready for painting.

A small job carried out this week in Willaston. We blocked up a walk through & opened an old doorway. It’s now ready for bespoke made skirting to match and a reclaimed door to be fitted.
