To all of our loyal customers
During these unsettling times, we have seen a significant increase in the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID 19).
We know that this is a time of great uncertainty and we recognise the impact the pandemic is having on all of our lives. We want to let you know what we are doing to help our customers and inform you of our efforts to assist at this time.
We appreciate and apologise that this post may seem delayed, this is primarily because guidance relating to our sector has changed over the past weeks. Nevertheless, our aim is to provide up to date and substantial information following the recent information provided by the UK Government as safety for our customers and our staff is paramount.
We are continually monitoring the guidelines and advice provided by the UK Government and Public Health England and are committed to providing ongoing help, advice and assistance to our customers and staff during this difficult time.
Following new restrictions, the Government has provided guidance on the activities categorised as ‘essential work’, I am pleased to announce that our team are proactively working to offer and schedule emergency orientated works where circumstances allow. These emergency works would be performed by trades such as Gas, Plumbing and Drainage, Roofing and Electrical engineers dependent on the tradesperson being available.
In order to provide essential emergency services, we have carefully implemented precautionary measures to ensure that we can continue offering assistance to our customers safely.
Our staff are equipped with PPE (Personal protection equipment) kits consisting of masks, gloves and foot coveralls, they also carry sanitizing wipes/liquid for personal hygiene purposes. We are also contacting our staff members daily, to identify whether they are experiencing symptoms of the Coronavirus.
At this time we would like to provide reassurance that the procedure in the event of a member of staff admitting to experiencing symptoms is to send that member of staff home to isolate in line with Public health England guidelines.
When scheduling an appointment with our team, pre-screening questions shall be asked to identify whether symptoms are present in the household prior to one of our staff members attending.
On the day of attendance, our team shall make contact to confirm that the situation has not changed likewise with our tradesperson to ensure safety on both accounts.
For further information and up to date guidance please refer to the Public Health England website by visiting https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/coronavirus-covid-19-list-of-guidance or alternatively please send your enquiry via email to [email protected] and one of our customer service representatives will respond to provide assistance.
To everyone’s safety
Yours faithfully
Avon Ruby (UK)
