Had to take a fair size Sycamore tree down for a member of family a couple of months ago. All down safely thanks to the team, customer kept most of the logs and now the garden is ready for a full landscape 🙂

I haven't had much time to upload any of my recent projects lately so here are a few of the things I had to keep me busy towards the end of last year.

First off, a nice new fence to replace the old, falling down featheredge fencing. Old fence and wall out and replaced with new posts and tongue and groove acoustic fencing.

One of my regular customers wanted a new set of gates made for the rear access to the garden for better security. Hand made using 4"x2" and feather edge boards with two secure gate locks and a ground bolt. That should keep out any unwanted visitors 🙂

A flashback to the biggest turfing job of my career...8 ton of soil and a whopping 440 rolls of turf. It was laid just before winter so come the dry, warmer weather it should be ready for it's first cut

Another unfortunate casualty of the recent storms. I received an emergency call from a customer to say their tree had come down in the wind, hit the house and landed partly on the front of the car. Luckily nobody was hurt and damage to property was minimal. (Or at least, could have been a lot worse). I made it safe, cleared everything back off of the driveway and stacked the waste ready to be removed as soon as possible

As the temperature drops and winter draws closer, to all those who are interested I will be offering a grit spreading service for driveways, paths and patios. Prices will be based on the total area to be covered.
