Dougie has signed up "last minute" for the Ardgowan Hospice 5 Ferries Challenge. This is 52 miles of hilly cycling on Arran and Bute and in Argyll separated by short ferry journeys (which he'll definitely need for a bit of a breather). Please help him to raise some much needed funds for this most deserving cause.

There's no doubt that some aspects of being architects aren't quite as glamorous as others. Investigating problems in existing buildings and coming up with practical, compliant solutions is a case in point (such as this morning's visit to this multi-property fabric repair for a local housing association).
Projects like this one are never going to make the glossy magazines but they're a vital local service and an important part of our work.

Happy new year everyone! Now that the days are getting longer we're looking forward to new projects starting on site. Projects like this one...a new extension and remodelling of the living spaces in this Kilmacolm bungalow. Not every project is as large (or as expensive😲) as this though; if your house needs a change, no matter how small, just get in touch for a chat.
