Summer availability. I’m working through the 22 enquiries Iv got in the last 2 days but from now any jobs will be scheduled for mid June onwards.

We should be lucky enough (with rain) to be able to do lawn renovations through the summer and also book in Powerwashing and Softwashing, moss and debris removal from tarmac and hard surfaces.

No more grass cutting clients to be taken on now. It’s chockablock!

🚨 Grass Cuts are being pushed back by 1 week 😯

I know, I’m all about saving you money 😁💰

This is to allow us to get some lawn renovations done (there’s loads of you this year!). It will also help get our scheduling back on track which gets broken up by the early spring weather which will be better for everyone. For most of you it will only be pushed back by a few days ☺️

🚨 Greysteel Grass Cuts has been moved to Monday 30th.
Apologies for this as Wednesday was a bit of a hit and miss day so I decided to shift into the next week. This will probably work better through the season.

Me: looking out at the weather that’s changing by the second to see if I can go and work! Weather: Lol 🤦‍♂️

Starting this week with fertilisers and w**d and feeds! Let me know if you’d like your lawn to get a head start.

As soil temperatures begin to rise, lawns across the country are waking up and putting on fresh growth. It’s an exciting time—but also a crucial one for giving your lawn the right support.

Healthy growth doesn’t happen without proper nutrition. New roots, leaves and cells all depend on a steady supply of the right nutrients, so now is the time to make sure your lawn is well fed.

🌿 Apply a spring/summer lawn feed, always following the manufacturer’s recommendations carefully.

🌿 As a general guide, choose a feed rich in Nitrogen (N), supported by Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K)—shown as the NPK ratio on the packaging. A ratio around 20:4:10 is a good starting point, although this can vary between products. If you’re unsure, a UKLCA member can advise on what’s best for your lawn and soil type.

🌿 Use a properly calibrated spreader for even application. Avoid spreading granular feed by hand, as this can lead to patchy results, including scorching or uneven colour.

🌿 Consider supplementing with a foliar feed to give your lawn an extra boost of essential minerals, helping to improve colour and strengthen root development.

🌿 Check how often your chosen product should be applied—and set a reminder so you don’t miss the next treatment.

If you’re unsure which feed to use or how to apply it, it’s always worth asking for advice. Mistakes can be costly and, in some cases, damaging to your lawn.
