💥🌳 21 Poplars Removed 🌳💥

It has been a flat-out week! We wish we had grabbed more footage of this one, but the team was too busy battling high 🌬️ winds to pick up the camera.

We successfully removed 21 massive Poplar trees, ranging from 25m to 30m in height, for a commercial client. The trees had to come down due to causing severe structural issues to nearby property.

A massive well done to the team for pulling together and completing a job of this scale safely in tough weather. And as always, the site was left completely immaculate. 🧹💪

💥🌳Busy Day in 🌳💥

We started the morning in Louth tackling a large Beech tree with a crown reduction. A great start to the day getting this specimen back to a manageable and healthy size. 💪🏻

The afternoon took an urgent turn as we were called to Hubbard's Hills for an emergency 🦺. A Maple tree had developed a significant split down the main stem, posing an immediate risk. We successfully pollarded the tree to a safe height. ✅

Frustratingly 🤦🏻, we couldn't complete the full site clearance today as a member of the public parked across the access gate, blocking our machinery. We'll be back to finish the tidy-up once access is clear!

To give back to the local ecosystem, we've left the stump at 5ft as a safe little habitat pole, providing perfect home for 🐞 bugs & beetles 🪲. Then, it was over to Grove Park to carry out Some essential maintenance on a stunning, large Walnut tree, removing the deadwood to keep it safe & healthy for everyone enjoying the park.🌳💥

We tackled this large Conifer🌲on Thursday that had unfortunately split during the recent high winds.
Give the client ten out of ten for effort-they actually managed to get some ratchet straps around it to hold everything together until we could arrive! It certainly made for an interesting sight when we pulled up.

We've now safely dismantled the tree 💪🏻, removing the risk. Another one down and the site is safe once again! ✅

Evidence of internal decay at main union, and continuing on into main leaders. Despite the damage the tree is showing signs of GRG. FFB on stem (E @ 0.8m AGL) possible Brittle cinder (Kretzschmaria deusta).DW. Close proximity to adjacent residential property

Recommendations of works: Pollard to approx 10m to allow regeneration of a manageable crown, eliminating any risk posed to cause injury and/ or damage in the event of failure.

💥🌳We're still working our way through the high-priority trees for Waltham Parish Council.💥🌳

Next on the list was this large Sycamore with a significant split running right through the base. Following the survey recommendations, we pollarded it to 8m to remove the weight and risk while still retaining the tree.💪🏻

We threw everything at this one today to get it finished in good time, ✅ ensuring we didn't cause too much chaos for the local traffic! 🤦🏻
