We do all aspect of tree surgery from prunning to felling, all our work is carried out in accordance to BS3998:2010 standard. Stump grinding requires a minimum access of 35" for machinery. Supply firewood, kindling and woodchip all year, free delivery within a 10 mile radius of Grimsby then £1 per mile.

✅ A large chestnut tree that had shed a heavy limb unexpectedly
✅ A black mulberry tree with a significant branch failure just days later

Both incidents were the result of extreme heat and moisture stress — common in older or densely canopied trees. Sudden spikes in temperature cause internal pressure changes, and limbs can fail without warning, especially in species like chestnut and mulberry.

Another Productive Week for the M Croft Tree Services Team!

This week, our skilled team has been hard at work delivering high-quality tree care services across the region, including:
• Precision trimming and reductions on mature conifers.
• Safe removal of an ash tree severely affected by ash dieback, ensuring site safety and sustainability.
• Careful removal of a dead conifer hedge after thorough wildlife checks to protect nesting birds, followed by stump grinding and the supply and installation of top-grade topsoil and grass seed for a fresh, clean finish.
• The removal of a large, overgrown macrocarpa tree that had begun causing structural damage to a rear garage — again carried out with full care and environmental responsibility.

🌳✅ A Busy End to the Week for the team👏👏

Here’s a quick round-up of a few jobs we wrapped up Thursday and Friday.
• Heavy reduction and reshape of a Silverbirch that was interfering with phone lines – safely done with a clean finish.
• Conifer removals sorted and cleared efficiently.
• Saint Giles Church – Vegetation clearance and removal of three problem trees to help deter fly tipping. Fingers crossed it works!

We also carried out some smaller tree shaping jobs – shame we didn’t grab photos of those, but the results were just as tidy!

We carry out domestic and commercial work – no job too big or small.
