GADS Productions We perform plays for fun. Formed in 1957 Groombridge Dramatic Society produces three plays or entertainments each year in spring, summer and autumn.

The summer play is usually Shakespeare, but we have also produced Restoration Comedy, Brecht and Shaw. For the 25 years we have performed the summer plays in the open-air.

COME ALONG THE READ-THROUGH AND AUDITIONS!

The cast consists of 6 characters and there is also plenty of opportunity to get involved backstage or in the Production Team. Please contact us if you are interested in a non acting role in the play.

Our wonderful Director is looking to involve live sound effects as part of the production, so do contact us if you are interested in that element.

Rehearsals will be Monday and Wednesday evenings at 8pm.

The weather is glorious! Come and see the sun set as the famous tragedy unfolds before you. The garden is open from 6pm with a bar for picnics before the production.
