If you think it could almost be mistaken for Winnie the Poohโ€™s Hundred Acre Wood, you wouldnโ€™t be wrong! Did you know Christopher Robin was filmed here back in 2017? Vann Garden played a special role as Winnie the Poohโ€™s woodland home. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿฉท

(Note: Unfortunately, dogs arenโ€™t allowed in the garden, but Dash the Doodle is a Vann resident so gets special privileges when we are closed to the public. He knows he is a very lucky doodle indeed!). ๐Ÿถ

There is also a homemade cake and freshly brewed coffee offer on the terrace in sweet little blue and white china cups for you to take and sit out in the sun.

Itโ€™s National Garden Scheme week! ๐ŸŒฟ This annual charity event is by pre-booking only through the NGS website. So do get booked and come see this special historic water garden!

We also have cake, coffee and a variety of teas on offer โ€” Cake and coffee are ยฃ5, with as many hot drink refills as you need! โ˜•๏ธ

So go explore the garden and then come back to the terrace for a hot drink and a sweet treat, find a bench, and just sit with plenty of time to take in this peaceful place (and itโ€™s incredible birdsong)!

๐Ÿฐ Tip: The banana walnut chocolate cake sells out daily, and the lemon drizzle is amazing too!
